T1 General 2025 — Income Tax and Benefit Return (Ontario)
The Ontario T1 General is the personal income tax return filed by Ontario residents to report their income, claim federal and Ontario deductions and credits, and calculate taxes owed or refunds due. Each province and territory publishes its own T1 package — this page covers the Ontario variant (5006 series), Canada's largest province by population.
View formTD1 — Personal Tax Credits Return
The TD1 is used by employees to tell their employer how much income tax to deduct. A new TD1 should be filed whenever the employee starts a new job or their personal situation changes (new dependants, age milestones, disability, etc.).
View formT4 — Statement of Remuneration Paid
The T4 slip is issued by employers to employees and the CRA, reporting employment income, income tax deducted, CPP/QPP contributions, and EI premiums for the calendar year.
View formT2125 — Statement of Business or Professional Activities
Self-employed individuals and small business owners use the T2125 to report business or professional income and expenses on their personal income tax return.
View formT2200 — Declaration of Conditions of Employment
The T2200 is completed by employers to certify that an employee met the conditions required to deduct employment expenses (home office, motor vehicle, supplies, etc.) when filing their tax return.
View formT2201 — Disability Tax Credit Certificate
The T2201 is used to apply for the Disability Tax Credit. Part A is completed by the applicant; Part B is completed by a medical practitioner certifying the nature of the impairment.
View formT1-ADJ — T1 Adjustment Request
The T1-ADJ lets individuals request a change to a previously filed personal income tax return, for example to add a missed slip or claim a forgotten credit.
View formRC66 — Canada Child Benefits Application
Use the RC66 to apply for the Canada Child Benefit (CCB), the GST/HST credit for children, and related provincial or territorial programs. New parents, new residents, and families with a change in custody should file this form.
View formRC4288 — Request for Taxpayer Relief
Use the RC4288 to ask the CRA to cancel or waive penalties or interest on a tax debt due to extraordinary circumstances, CRA actions or errors, financial hardship, or other acceptable grounds.
View formGST191 — GST/HST New Housing Rebate Application for Owner-Built Houses
Individuals who build or substantially renovate their own home may use the GST191 to claim a partial rebate of the GST or federal portion of the HST paid on construction materials and related services.
